This year, we’ve expanded our Greater Ukuwela Nature Reserve by an incredible 875 acres, securing habitat for countless endangered and threatened species and protecting one of South Africa’s most biodiverse regions. Land protection is at the heart of our mission. By safeguarding these spaces, we ensure that wildlife can roam freely and thrive in their natural environments. Creating wildlife corridors is especially important, as it connects fragmented habitats, allowing species to migrate safely and maintain healthy populations.
This milestone would not have been possible without the unwavering support of our partners at World Land Trust and our community of donors. However, the need for land conservation remains urgent. Accessible funds for future land appeals are critical to keeping the momentum going. Together, we can protect even more wild places.
